"Thank you all so much for making the New York City benefit and the Aura Estrada Prize a success. With your support, Aura's life --her effort and aspirations, the love she inspired -- will go on being a gift and a friend to young female writers for years and years. As Colum McCann expressed it at the benefit, Aura and all of us together, with this prize, have created a community. Please check the website for future prize-related announcements. We are taking a brief hiatus, but will be back in touch soon, and, or course, are always here to answer any questions you might have."
